Judge Park Dae-san of the Seoul Central District Court sentenced Kang to one year in prison on Wednesday for allegedly fabricating private documents and conducting fake private documents. Kang was arrested immediately after the verdict. The prosecution earlier sought four years in prison.

"As a lawyer, the defendant forgot his status and basic duties and submitted documents on major cases such as civil lawsuits to the court by fabricating them," the court said.

Regarding Kang`s claim that he knew that he had been entrusted with the removal of a cow by his husband, he said he could have simply confirmed it to Kim`s husband, but he did not do so.

Kang was arrested in court and briefly answered, "Yes."

Kang is accused of falsifying the private documents after he filed a lawsuit against Kim for compensation for damages, which he filed against him for 100 million won after rumors emerged with the mother.

Kang only said in his final statement that he had nothing to say. Kang denied the charges during the trial, claiming that he thought Kim had been given permission to drop the cow by his husband.

Earlier in December 2016, Kim was sentenced to one year in prison and two years in prison for the charges. Kim did not appeal, and the ruling was confirmed. Kim was accused of secretly using his husband's seal impression book and applying for a confirmation letter. At that time, the court judged that Kang was involved in the process.
